Daily Prayers 21-27 March

Mar 21 – By Adeola Allinson: Abba Father, King of glory, Ancient of Days, the lifter of our heads, Father of light – draw us closer to Jesus. Lord Jesus, our eyes and hearts are set on You – move among each and every one of us by Your Spirit – in His power and for Your glory in Your church, Telford Elim.

Thank You for Your word that says You alone will build Your church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it as it advances doing Your will and working Your works (Matthew 16:18b). We pray that many will be rescued from the Kingdom of darkness, saved in Christ, and equipped to be disciple-makers through Telford Elim’s people and ministries, in person and online.

Father, I pray that the life of our Lord Jesus Christ will be established in the body of Christ. In the name of Jesus – we proclaim His victory, and may Jesus’ victory be seen in Telford Elim, in person and online. Lord Jesus, let Your light shine in every dark area that may want to overshadow Your ministry; and may Your goodness, mercy and grace be seen in our lives, homes, and church. Amen

Mar 22 – by Adeola Allinson: Jehovah Father, grant unto the body of Christ in Telford Elim, in person and online, the mind of Christ so that we can live, worship, serve, give and witness as You will. We pray that each one of us will fill our minds, hearts, and relationships with Your word, and therefore our choices will also be in accordance to Your word.

Grant unto each one a forgiving spirit which enables us to walk in the power that biblical forgiveness brings. Therefore, our tolerance and love for each other will be rooted in Christ and the biblical mandate.

We pray for genuine repentance where it is needed – a turning away from sin, our own will, a worldly mindset and lifestyle, and anything that gives Satan a foothold in each person’s life. We pray for understanding, humility, brokenness, and submission to Your will and call; for watchfulness in the Spirit, and selfless generosity of the spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Mar 23 – By Adeola Allinson: Father, in the name of Jesus – I pray and command these blessings over and in our church, the Church Leadership Team [CLT], and every ministry, person and household in the household of God which is Telford Elim, in person and online.

I command the blessings of:

  • Your peace which passes all understanding,
  • meekness which opens the door to true worship, service, giving and witness,
  • gentleness which reveals Your heart,
  • divine healing which flows from Your compassionate nature,
  • progress in faith, life, discipleship and fruitfulness,
  • divine wholeness which is at the heart of sanctification,
  • words of wisdom which unlock the door to a rich, full life,
  • the working of miracles which is the revelation of Your power and glory in Christ by the Spirit,
  • beauty for ashes when grief, pain and weakness threaten to overwhelm,
  • weakness for strength through Your grace and our asking for grace each and every day,
  • gladness for mourning,
  • discerning of spirits both those which are not of You, and those who are off You,
  • dedication to Your call and cause,
  • and many new people coming to Christ as Saviour and Lord. Amen and Amen

Mar 24 – By Adeola Allinson: Father, I pray today for the finances of our Church. As You have said in Your word, Haggai 2:8, ‘The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of hosts.’ You are the source of everything good. You created the gold and silver, and everything of value. Thank You that You are also the governor of everything, including all resources and finances.

As we pray for financial breakthrough, and the release of supernatural provision over Your church here in Telford Elim, in person and online, and each household in it – we are looking to You who said that You will supply all our need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Teach each one of us that this happens when we pray about everything with thanksgiving.

In Christ, we will not lack anything good, needs will be met, and there will be deliverance from the love of money, covetousness and greed into a new era of complete submission to Christ in every area of our lives and finances.

As a result of the ministry of Telford Elim, in person and online, and because of our application of the biblical principles of stewardship – every dark financial stronghold will be broken.

Bless the ministry of Telford Christians Against Poverty [CAP]. We pray for the supply of all the resources of people, support and spiritual insight that they need as they minister, support and help people out of debt into a new place of freedom from debt. We ask that You will guard and protect, under the blood of Jesus, each one ministering and serving in it. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Mar 25 – By Adeola Allinson: Farther, I pray that the thirst and hunger for Christ and His word will continue to grow stronger in the lives of every brother and sister in Telford Elim, in person and online.

We pray particularly for those who are afraid, reluctant or gripped by the world, self, sin or Satan – we ask for breakthrough in their lives so they step into that new place of abiding and dwelling with Christ.

In Jesus’ name, O Lord, I pray and ask that You will remove every form of hindrance to Your purpose for Your church. You know each hindrance, each dark stronghold, each area of personal sin, each thing that holds people back from stepping into Your fullness of life in Christ. We pray for freedom in Christ for each person in or associated with Telford Elim. Amen.

Mar 26 – By Pastor Leslie: ‘So I thought I should send these brothers ahead of me to make sure the gift you promised is ready. But I want it to be a willing gift, not one given grudgingly’ (2 Corinthians 9:5).

‘Gift’ here is eulogia – a generous gift. It is not a gift given because someone feels pressured to do so or in spite of what they really feel. It is a gift given from a generous and loving heart – it is done with pure motives from an open heart and open, generous hands.

‘We are travelling together to guard against any criticism for the way we are handling this generous gift’ (2 Corinthians 8:20). Hadrotes is the word which means a number of gifts pooled together to make this abundant, lavish or generous gift. This is the cumulative offerings brought together into one pot demonstrating people’s generosity accumulated over a period of time by the church.

Thank You, Farther, for both of these Scriptures. Lord, You look for willing, generous givers, and are so desirous to bless them spiritually and in every way. Continue to lead us forward in becoming a Spirit-filled church giving in every way abundantly as You will.

You will withhold no good thing from the one who walks wholeheartedly, from the heart, with Christ. Raise up many such men, women, young adults, young people and children in our church. May their example inspire many others to live such a life themselves. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Mar 27 – By Pastor Leslie: Father, it is easy to see how our modern, post-Christian Dark Culture is reshaping Society away from the Christian certainties which once were the basis for it. At the heart of the Society in this nation, until the 1950s, created by a biblical, Christian-Judeo Culture, was fairness, a Christian moral base, and ethics derived from Christianity.

Instead, we confess, that today that an evil, sinful, Dark Culture is creating a more fluid, open to ungodly influence, Satanic and antichrist Society. This is a Society which is forcing these antichrist and unbiblcal views upon Christians who reject such an outlook on life, society and faith.

It is becoming increasing difficult to openly disagree with the prevailing Dark Culture because Society is becoming increasingly intolerant of anyone who opposes its prevailing Cultural identity. Instead of a more free, open, just and tolerant Society that people claim – we see arising a more fearful, closed, unjust and intolerant Society.

We pray that this will become clear to many more people, and that many will realise that our Society which this Dark Culture is creating is destructive, decaying and empty. We pray instead for Your Kingdom and its values to come in our nation. That its biblical values, morals and outlook will again be re-established at the heart of this nation. In Jesus’ name. Amen
