Daily Prayers 14-20 November

Daily Prayers 14-20 November

Nov 14 – The focus of this week’s prayers is on Faith’s Victory, and our church Kingdom Building Vision.

Father, as we come to You – we pray that You will prepare everything and everyone in our church for the future when our Kingdom Building Vision moves into the new phase of preparing to move to a different larger venue on a Sunday morning, and increasing our ministry.

We ask that You will stir up a growing sense of excitement as we progress leading to increased Worship, Word, Encounter and Transformation in Christ. Bless the Church Leadership Team – may they all be filled with the Spirit, and lead in His power. Guard and keep them.

You call us to do all that we need to do in order for everything to be ready; yet producing much lasting, good fruit does not depend on us – You are the One who gives the increase. As we trust in You with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding, as we obey Your commands and word, as we walk in step with Your Spirit – You will lead us in the right way.

Lord Jesus, we cast the burden on You and seek to be yoked with Your Lordship so that we see the people in the church grow and therefore the church growing, the people in it stepping into a new arena of freedom, and for multitudes of the unchurched to come and be saved.

We chose to take Your yoke upon us, and lift our eyes up to heaven. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, and Christ be glorified through our church Kingdom Building Vision. Amen

Nov 15 – Father, we commit todays day of prayer, fasting and abstinence to You. Glorify Your Son greatly through our spiritual offerings. Your Son came to destroy Satan’s works and rescue all who will believe in Him.

You have also given us the authority, when filled and led by the Spirit, to trample on evil forces so that they are crushed. You anointed us so that through us the in-breaking of Your Kingdom may extend further in our community.

As Your Kingdom comes – more and more people are saved in Christ, large numbers will dedicate their lives to Him and follow Him in the pathway of worship, discipleship, service, giving and witness.

Open up every access point into the lives of the unchurched to the power of Your word in Telford & Wrekin | Shropshire. We proclaim that every heart, and the thresholds of our lives, will be open to Christ’s kingly authority and word, and everyone in or associated with the church, in person or online, filled with the Spirit.

May none be hindered from coming to You through the ministry of our church. None hindered from coming to worship and receive Your life-giving word each time we gather as a church on Sunday mornings, in our small groups, and in special services – especially as we gather tonight between 7:30pm – 9pm in church to pray into our vision. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Nov 16 – Father, may the revelation of Your love and saving ways, Your concern and care, through Your Word, Spirit and our church, lead to Faith’s Victory and the rescue of many from sin, the power of self, Satan and the world. Touch hearts and save lives, breakout in great power in, through Telford Elim, in person and online.

We declare that You are great…and most worthy of our praise. Your only Son is the Lord Jesus, the Saviour of all who believe in Him…and most worthy of our praise. Your Spirit has come to glorify Jesus, empower our church so that we can witness to Jesus.

Enable our church to function as You have determined it should…You are most worthy of our praise. May many enter into a new relationship with Christ, and many into a new level of personal worship and praise because of what they gain through the ministries of our church. In Jesus’ name and for His glory. Amen

Nov 17 – Lord Jesus, there are…

…No Boundaries to the Blessings You bestow when Your sons and daughters walk in obedience to You.

…No Fences that separate us from all the spiritual blessings and power that Your Salvation brings to us.

…No Guardrails that can hold back Your Compassion for the lost, weary, broken and disenfranchised – from sinners, when our church walks as it should.

… No Limits to the Love You pour out through the church, in person and online, into all who are partners with you in it

…No Locked Gates that can keep back Your Faithfulness from being revealed in the New Covenant through our church

…No Restrictions on Receiving Righteousness as we walk step by step with Your Spirit living in Your word

…No Walls stopping Your Grace from overflowing from us out into all the communities of Telford & Wrekin | Shropshire.

May Your grace overflow as we seek to lean not on our own understanding, but trust in with our whole hearts and follow Your leading in our Kingdom Building Vision. ‘It is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase gratitude to the glory of God’ (2 Corinthians 4:15, John Piper).

Thank You God, gratitude is the proper response to grace. Our expressions of gratitude to You flow with deep humility because You are the Lord our Provider. When we say, ‘Thank you,’ we are humbling ourselves as a people who have great needs, and exalting You as the only One who can truly meet the needs of all who come to our church, or are ministered to by the people of our church.

May many find a saving, sanctifying spiritual renewal in and through Telford Elim. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Nov 18 – Father, we declare that ‘no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what You have prepared for us who love You’ (1 Corinthians 2:9, NIV).

We surrender all in Telford Elim to You, Lord. You can do so much more with us – if we will commit our way to You each new day. You are able to take our potential in Christ and see that develop and be realised as we walk hand in hand with Your Spirit and word.

Lord, as we are conformed to Christ, being transformed by the renewing of our minds by Your word and our worship – then our church will be a Centre where Your good and perfect and pleasing to us will is outworked.

When we live filled and are led by Your Spirit, He opens up every area of our lives to Your scrutiny – then our lives are sanctified, set aside for Christ’s service. We pray that in our Vocations, that sanctifying power will be at work. Set aside our workplaces so that they are filled with the knowledge of Christ as the waters fill the seas. May they be Christ-honouring places ‘for the just and the unjust.’

Fill Your people here in our church with a new anointing so that in every area of our lives we live secure in Christ, clear in our purpose as a church, and growing rapidly reaching the unchurched and seeing them saved and sanctified in Christ.

May our fellowship together be a time when many hear Your call to serve You for the first time, and many more to serve You more fully through their lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Nov 19 – Father, may many find freedom in Christ through our church, its people and ministries. God, if You able to do more than we can imagine or think – we proclaim that the overflow will be our experience today, tomorrow and thereafter.

We proclaim that You will do amazing things in our souls: Hearts, Minds, Choices and Relationships.

We proclaim that Hands will be sanctified, wholly available and trained by You for the work to which You call us.

That the Talents You have placed within us will find their full expression under the anointing and direction of Your Spirit.

We proclaim that the spiritual Gifts that Your Spirit sovereignly distributes will be used in and through our church – as You give opportunity to do so.

We commit our tithes, offerings and giving to You, multiply our offerings, and bless others and Your work as we give of our treasures to Your cause.

May all of these different desires and longings become more truly realised as we deny the power of self, live sacrificially taking up our cross daily, and following Jesus. In Jesus’ name and for His glory. Amen

Nov 20 – Father, as we welcome new people into church membership today – may this be a special occasion for them – a time of deepening roots in our church as their spiritual home, and the start of a new season of spiritual growth and development in each one – no matter how mature they already are.

So many struggle with the desire to do something meaningful, to do something that makes a difference and, yet, are seemingly trapped by the burdens of everyday responsibilities and the unexpected trials of life.

Augustine’s words, ‘You have made us for Yourself, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in You,’ are so true; yet You are able to give purpose and take our burdens so that we are truly free in Christ. May this be our portion as a church each and every day.

‘God be merciful to us and bless us as we meet in church this morning, and cause Your face to shine upon us. That Your way may be known in Telford & Wrekin | Shropshire, Your salvation because of the ministry and witness of Telford Elim, in person and online.

Let the peoples of our land praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. Oh, let the Borough and County be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people of our Borough and County righteously, and bring all the nations on earth before You for judgement on the Great Day.

Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. Then the Borough and County shall yield their increase; God, our own God, shall bless Telford Elim. God shall bless us, and all the ends of our country shall fear Him’ (Adaption of Psalm 107:1-7). In Jesus’ name. Amen
