Day 17 – Natalie Headley. Telford Deacon.
Heavenly Father, as we enter this new season of unity between Telford Elim and Shrewsbury Elim, we come before You in humble consecration. We dedicate our hearts, our lives, and our ministry to Your service. Lord, may this partnership reflect Your Kingdom and glorify Your name in both our communities.
We surrender our plans to You, acknowledging our dependence on the guidance, empowering, and fullness of Your Holy Spirit. As we embark on this journey together, fill us with boldness to share Your gospel, wisdom to build relationships, and compassion to serve sacrificially.
Lord, may our unity in mission be a testament to Your love, drawing others into Your embrace. Strengthen us to love deeply, act courageously, and give our very best to the calling You have entrusted to us.
Lord, we dedicate this season to You, trusting in Your grace to lead us forward. In Christ Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 18 – Himat Khetia. Telford Deacon.
Almighty God, You are sovereign Lord above all, You are the Creator of all things, we want to thank You for Your blessings and love. In Isaiah 55:8, it says that Your thoughts are not our thoughts, and Your ways are not our ways. Your ways and thoughts are higher.
We thank You for trusting us in giving us a chance to expand Your Kingdom in Shropshire through Shrewsbury Elim. We just want to praise and thank You, Lord.
Lord, we know that the harvest is plentiful, therefore we pray that you send more labourers for Your harvest. Lord, You know all the needs required to maintain both churches. We pray that You will open the windows of blessings from above and bless us.
You have blessed us with different gifts and talents, help us to use those gifts and talents for Your glory. Give us the burden to pray for and support one another.
Holy Spirit, we pray that You will lead and guide us to devote ourselves for Your glory, and to exalt the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We thank You Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Day 19 – Himat Khetia. Telford Deacon.
Father, we come to You in the Name of Jesus, lifting up both churches, Telford Elim and Shrewsbury Elim. Sanctify and set us all apart to be used for prayers, worship and witness so that Your Name is exalted and glorified.

We thank You Lord for the growth in different ministries, bless our finances, and help us to grow spiritually. Pour out Your Spirit and anoint the services in both churches. Anoint our pastors and the leadership teams to make wise decision according to Your will.
Lord, You be the centre in both our churches. We know that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we may ask and think. We will continue to stand together seeking Your face as we pray in faith for Your provision and guidance in both locations. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Day 20 – Sharlom Chaitika. Telford Elim Worship.
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5, NIV).
Thank You for anointing our worship team as Your vessels in representing You before the people, and them to You. As we step into this new season, help us to be set apart for Your holy service, to hear You as we lead Your people, to stand in humility as You work through us, and to be in fellowship with one another bound by the Holy Spirit.
Help us to lead lives worthy of the calling placed upon our lives. As You set apart the Levites in the times of old, show us what this means for our lives daily as we serve You and Your people. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 21 – Adeola Allinson – Teford Elim Women
Philippians 1:6, ESV, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Heavenly Father, thank You for the new season, New Year and new beginnings; thank You for the privilege that You have bestow on us as women to be able to witness this new season in our two churches, where we are ONE church in TWO locations, Telford and Shrewsbury.
As we are one church, our prayers are that You set us all apart for Your glory, honour and to be committed to the issues and things of the Kingdom.
Father, we pray as women You will enable us to prioritise spiritual issues, to steer our hearts towards kingdom building by sanctifying us by Your truth as Your words are truth, John 17:17. Set us apart, Father, for the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 22 – Sam Adjepong. Telford Men.
Lord Jesus, Your unfailing love is better than life itself, so we will thank and praise You as long as we live. You gave Your life for us when You went to the cross, suffered and died in our place so we may have life.
Your love is so amazing, so divine, it demands our souls, our lives and our all.
And so, Lord, for this reason we surrender totally and consecrate our lives to Your service. We repent of our sins and tear down whatever idols that have preoccupied us. Help us, by Your Holy Spirit, to prioritize our spiritual lives over our earthly lives so we can totally be devoted to Your kingdom building purposes.
As we begin this new season together as two Elim churches, we pray for wisdom and guidance and the Holy Spirit anointing on the men, and men’s ministry, in both locations. May You be lifted up, and by Your authority, enable us to make disciples in these days. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 23 – Helen Lambie. Children’s Ministries.
Dear Father, thank You for this new season. We pray that You will direct our path as we step out this new year. We pray for your Holy Spirit’s guidance in all we do in our personal lives, in our church life, and in the ministry to children in Telford and Shrewsbury.
We thank You, and rest in the knowledge, that Your word tells us that You know the plans You have for us, plans to give us a future and a hope, when we seek You with all our hearts. So, we bring ourselves before You now. Seeking You with all our hearts.
Forgive us where we have not walked in Your will. Give us strength and courage to be the light in the world as we move into 2025.
We pray that You will bind us together in unity and with purpose as we join together. We pray that Your love and peace will shine through us to those around us, for Your word and glory to reach the world that needs to know You. May they know You through us.
Sanctify Kids Extravaganza, the new Creche ministry that will be starting in Telford Elim in 2025, and the children’s, and parent’s and toddler’s ministries in Shrewsbury Elim. Lord, we humbly bring ourselves to Your throne asking for Your grace, favour and blessing on each of these ministries, all the children and parents, teachers and helpers involved. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
Day 24 – Tami Oriade – Limitless Telford.
We want to just take a moment to commit Limitless into Your hand in this new season. We are grateful that Your hand has always been on this ministry, and the lives of the youth have been positively influenced by the teaching of Your word and the fellowship it provides.
We pray for the leadership, that they will continue to be Spirit led and lead the ministry diligently. Allow them to grow in their knowledge and wisdom of the things of God so they continue to reveal Christ through their teaching
We thank You for the lives of the youth in both locations. Allow them to grow spiritually and begin to be an example onto their peers. Allow them to be light and salt in their communities, standing out for Christ sake. Protect and watch over them always, may they never forget You are with them. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 25 – Sue North. Safeguarding.
Father God, we thank You that as we enter this New Year, that you give us the opportunity to recommit ourselves to you and the work You entrust to us.
We thank You Lord, for a new season and new beginnings and relationships as Your church families across Telford and Shrewsbury begin to work together in a different way for Your glory.
As this year embarks, Lord, we pray for Your protection over our church and its members. Lord, that we will always seek to ensure that those who are part of our church, and those who come into contact with our churches are kept safe, and if they need help or protection, are met with the support and love that You command us to give to each other.
We pray for Your blessings, direction and guidance to those in our churches who work with and for its members, attendees and those we meet to serve and support them in a way that keeps everyone safe and honours You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 26 – Pastor Leslie. Thrive.
Father, thank You for the Young Adults ministry in Telford. We commit all the 18-30s to You in both locations, Telford and Shrewsbury. This is an age bracket when so much changes in education, family, work and relationships.
We pray for the wisdom, understanding and grace needed to make good choices, godly decisions and Christ-honouring transitions. In the world, so many 18-30s are making bad choices and ungodly decisions.
We pray that the witness of the 18-30s in our church to their friends will be effective, full of light and hope, and point to a different, better way of living than the world offers.
We plead the protection of the blood of Jesus over their lives praying for them to mature in Christ, become spiritually attuned to Your Kingdom’s principles for life, living out their faith resisting the world, the devil, sin and self while embracing the pathway of sacrifice, worship, service, witness, giving and Kingdom living that honours Christ. Amen.
Day 27 – Barbara Thomas. Events and Serve Team.
Dear Father God, thank You for choosing us to help build Your kingdom. It is a great privilege to be able to serve You in this way.
We are reminded in 1 Peter 4:10 that You have blessed us all with many talents and gifts, and that we must use them well to show Your love. We pray that through our Events and Serve teams we can strive to be excellent stewards for the Telford and Shrewsbury Elim church in this new season.
Please continue to open doors of opportunity, bringing the right people and resources together in both locations. Help us to serve with the right hearts and spirit, and strive to stay focussed on our mission and goals. We pray for unity amongst and within both of our new teams.
Remind us to always look to You for direction and guidance.
We pray for protection and victory over the forces that hinder the expansion of Your Kingdom. May Your favour continue to rest upon us. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Day 28 – Paul Watkins. Telford Tech team.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with gratitude and anticipation for this new season, and we thank You for the privilege of new beginnings.
Lord, as members and specifically the “Tech team” in both locations, we dedicate this season to You. We consecrate our hearts, our minds, and our hands for Your service.
May we be fully aligned with Your purpose, knowing that You are the One who has called us to serve in this time and in this way. May our lives reflect the holiness, the commitment, and the unity that You desire.
We pray for the leaders and every member of this body in Telford and Shrewsbury, that we would all be consecrated for Your glory. May the communities in Telford and Shrewsbury experience the presence of the living God through the launch of the one church in both Telford and Shrewsbury.
We trust You, Father God, to complete the work You have begun, and we are excited to see the mighty things You will do in this new season. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Day 29 – Liz Manley. Telford and Shrewsbury Administration.
Abba Father, 4‘There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all’ (Ephesians 4:4-6, ESV).
In this new season of two becoming one, may we be under Your leadership and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I pray for the smooth integration of all Administration aspects, that the ‘behind the scenes’ work continue for a seamless transition; working together in harmony and for the greater good of the Kingdom, and not ourselves.
Help us to tune into Your vision and what that looks like, being available and ready to be equipped for the tasks ahead.
May the two become a much bigger ONE – growing in mission, evangelism and the empowering of the saints. In Your wisdom, grace and mercy, we ask. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Day 30 – Sharlom Chaitika. Elim Missions.
Matthew 28:18-20, NIV, ‘Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”’
Lord Jesus, thank You for the commission You gave us to go into the world and spread Your word. Thank You for the mission fields You have opened for Telford Elim in Shrewsbury, and with Challenge ministries in Eswatini.
Thank You for setting us apart for Your work. Thank You that all authority and power belong to You. Equip us with Your Holy Spirit and power for the work You have set for us to do. As we step forward in this new season, thank You that You are always with us. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
Day 31 – Pastor Leslie. Telford and Shrewsbury Elim.
May the Lord be pleased to pour His grace and favour on our church, its two locations, its leadership teams, Pastor Malcolm and myself, and each one of us as we follow Christ in this new season.
Farther, as we move on into 2025, we ask for Your continued anointing, guidance and blessing upon Telford Elim and Shrewsbury Elim. In all that we do, in all that we say, in all that we plan, may Christ be at the centre, and may Your Holy Spirit be the pilot of our church in its locations.
We ask for the protection of the blood of Jesus over us, the strong light of Christ to surround us, and the cross of Christ to be ever before us as we pursue Your mission through us, engaging with the world, the flesh and the devil in the spiritual battle for the souls of the people of our county and borough. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
